Jeffrey Michael Alves

Biography
Retired Cmdr. and professor Jeffrey Alves joined the U.S. Naval War College faculty in May 2014. Originally from Falmouth, Massachusetts, he graduated from Boston University in 1990 with a bachelor’s in international relations with a concentration in strategy and security concepts. Professor Alves is currently a faculty member for the Maritime Operational Planner’s Course in the College of Maritime Operational Warfare. His specialties include joint and naval planning, operational functions, humanitarian assistance and non-combatant evacuation operations.
