Joint Professional Military Education at the College

Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) is a key milestone and important to your career and advancement. Reserve officers have the same JPME opportunities as their active duty counterparts.

CNRFC N77 is responsible for PME opportunities for Reserve Component Officers. All NWC programs require an application package submitted to a selection board to attend. Selection boards are held annually for each program and are very competitive. Application windows and Selectee Announcements are made via Forceconnect. Primary and Alternates are selected through the selection board process, no quotas will be assigned outside this process. NWC RPD is not involved in the selection board process. For any question please e-mail CNRFC_N77.mil@us.navy.mil.

If you took JPME as a correspondence course and are interested in the process to receive retirement points, please contact your local Navy Reserve Center or your command Admin department. All eligible correspondence courses and references are available on the Navy Reserve Homeport website under the N7 Department.

For information on retirement points for JPME completion in the Naval Command & Staff Online Program, please see Retirement Points for JPME Completion.

For information on retirement points in additional programs, please contact the Reserve Affairs Office at NWCReserveAffairs@usnwc.edu.
